This is what the question looks like:
Can mercantilism be found in international trade today? Look through current newspapers and magazines. Are there embargoes or sanctions against trade with certain countries existing today? What industries might be considered monopolies today?

Any cool facts on the international fur trade of the 1800s or the Oregon Trail?

In the 1800s, the international fur trade took place in America. The recent purchase of the Louisiana Territory made beaver hunting an easily accessed hobby.

I am doing a project on the Oregon Trail, and in my group, I have to find out about the fur trade.
If you have any cool facts or input, please help me ASAP!!
